“Welcome to the magical city of Marrakech!” Vibrant souks, stunning palaces, enchanting colorful gardens, delicious Moroccan cuisine, ancient traditions, and unforgettable desert landscapes are just some of the reasons to visit Morocco.
We will not only explore the fascinating Medina of Marrakech, but we will also discover the charming Palmeraie, the wonderful Majorelle Garden, the city’s magnificent palaces, and its lively squares.
We will wander through the streets of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, experience the unique atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa, enjoy the warm Moroccan hospitality, and taste the most authentic dishes of the local tradition!

DISCOVER MARRAKECH is an innovative project born from the idea of creating an educational and inspiring experience for photography and video editing enthusiasts.
‍
During its seven previous editions, the project involved 250 participants from 18 different countries and resulted in the creation of more than 3,500 photographs.
‍
The aim of the project is to enhance and promote the magical and colorful city of Marrakech, Morocco, through photographs, reports, and videos created by photographers (both amateur and professional) from different parts of the world.

Moreover, DISCOVER MARRAKECH represents an important step in the academic and professional growth journey of photographers, while also enriching their personal portfolios.

The city tours are organized in collaboration with Marrakech City Tour Guide, a tour operator providing qualified and experienced local guides who are eager to share the secrets of their vibrant city.

The tours include:
1st Tour: Jemaa el-Fnaa Square – Ancient Medina Souks
2nd Tour: Koutoubia Mosque – Lalla Hasna Park – Bahia Palace – El Badi Palace

Furthermore, we will visit one of the most beautiful gardens in the world: Jardin Majorelle. The Jardin Majorelle is one of the most visited places in all of Marrakech.

To make our journey even more unforgettable, we will head to the beautiful Palmeraie of Marrakech at sunset. Just a few minutes from the lively streets of the city, this peaceful oasis with thousands of palm trees is the perfect place to experience the magic of the golden hour.

To ensure participants also develop their professional and academic skills, several workshops and photo shootings will be organized:

2. “Portrait Photography” Workshop organized by Marha Valseca Ruiz
3. Outdoor Shooting with models inside beautiful Riads

Exclusively for this edition, professional photographer Marha Valseca Ruiz will be the official instructor and will accompany participants throughout the entire project, organizing different sessions and activities every day.
