We'll not visit only Petra, but also the magic Wadi Rum Desert, the ancient capital of Amman!
We will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, we will sleep in the desert in a beduin camp where will watch the Milk Way Galaxy, we will walk in the history through the city of Amman!

DISCOVER PETRA is an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.

The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the magical country of Jordan, through photos, reportage, videos made by photographers (amateurs or not) from different places of the world. DISCOVER PETRA wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.

The tours of the city are organized in collaboration with different local guides, who knows all the sights of Jordan and will take you on a guided tour.  Exactly:

- Petra has been described by UNESCO as “one of the most precious cultural properties of man’s cultural heritage” and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World! Petra is a spectacular, rock cut city, unlike anywhere else on earth. It is referred to as the “Rose City” because of the colour of the stones used in its buildings. Petra was also a filming location for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which helped make the site famous worldwide.

- Wadi Rum Desert: it is certainly one of the most iconic places to visit in the country. Wadi Rum is the large and wonderful desert of Jordan and is also called "the Valley of the Moon". The Wadi Rum desert is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is mainly made up of expanses of reddish sand, alternating with sandstone hills and for this reason it resembles the reminds of the moon. Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Prometheus e Transformers were filmed here!

- Amman: the vibrant capital of Jordan, is a fascinating blend of ancient history and modern energy. Built on seven hills, the city offers impressive archaeological sites such as the Roman Theater and the Citadel, with its panoramic views over the city. Its lively streets, traditional markets, and outstanding cuisine make Amman an essential stop to experience the true soul of Jordan.

To make our trip even more remarkable, two more unforgettable experiences await us: Petra by night and Jeep Tour in the Wadi Rum Desert! Petra by night invites you on a magical journey through the candle-lit Siq all the way to the majestic Treasury. As you walk along a path illuminated by over 2,000 candles, the flickering lights reveal ancient carvings and guide you into an atmosphere where history comes alive through an enchanting blend of light, silence, and storytelling. For the Jeep Tour, we will venture deep into the stunning landscapes of Wadi Rum, exploring its red dunes, rock formations, and vast open spaces. And to make the adventure even more exciting, we will also get the chance to try sandboarding on the desert dunes!
