After the great successes of Krakow, Barcelona, Budapest,Sicily, Marrakech, Lisbon, Copenaghen, Prague and Athens, Let me Italian you is ready to launch the first and exclusive edition of DISCOVER SANTORINI. It will be a unique and exclusively edition for this year!
Santorini is undoubtedly one of the most evocative natural spectacles in the Mediterranean: the most "rebellious" of the Cyclades is the only Greek island that rests on an ancient volcano, a corner of paradise on earth! The blue of the sky, the blue of the sea, the white of the houses, the red of the sunsets: the whole island is an explosion of color.
DISCOVER SANTORINI is an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.
The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the magical and ancient island of Santorini, in Greece,through photos, reportage, videos made by photographers (amateurs or not) from different places of the world. DISCOVER SANTORINI wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.
The two tours of the cities is organized in collaboration with Eugenia, a professional local guide,who knows all the sights of Santorini and will take you on a guided tour . Exactly:
1° Tour: Visit of the most traditional villages: Magalochori & Pyrgos & Oia
2° Tour: Akrotiri - Pyrgos - Mount Prophet Elias
Further, we will have an outstanding boat daily trip: Santorini Volcano + Hot Springs + Visit of islands of NeaKameni & Thirasia. "Sail across Santorini’s beautiful ‘caldera’ (flooded crater) and visit the islands of Nea Kameni and Thirasia on this 6-hour cruise. Board a sightseeing boat from the old port, and admire Santorini’s cliffs and as you cruise to Nea Kameni. Enjoy free time to walk around its volcanic crater, swim in the warm springs, and visit Thirasia island."
Last but not least, we will also visit the speachless Red Beach: the Red Beach of Santorini is undoubtedly one of the most amazing beaches in all of Greece. You cannot leave without having visited it, because it is an experience ... Interplanetary! Like taking a leap to Mars, the Red Beach is like being catapulted into the red planet, all of a sudden.
In order to improve participants’ professional and academic skills, there will be several workshops and photoshooting:
- Workshop "Long expose in Landscape photography - Catch the Sunset of Santorini" organized by Michał Włoch
- Worshop "Portrait into the nature photography" organized by Michał Włoch
- Outdoor Photoshoot with models in Santorini
Exclusively for this edition, we are going to have as the main photographer teacher: the photographer Michał Włoch will support the participant during all the days of the project. He will offer full time availability if someone has questions or need close attention. Michal is a professional landscape photographer based in Krakow.
How is DISCOVER SANTORINI organized and what is its output?
The role of participant is to take photos of Santorini' beauties during each guided tours. You will work alone or in pair (your fellow could be one your friend). The project lasts 4 days.

At the end of the project, each participant shall receive an Attendance certificates signed by the Let me Italian you team and all its partners.
Plus, in order to bring more visibility to the work done during the project, each participant will submit 20 photos with their credits to Let me Italian you and the photos will be published by our official Flickr & Instagram (@letmeitalianyou) accounts.
