After the great successe of the first edition, Let me Italian you is ready to launch the second and exclusive edition of DISCOVER PARIS. It will be a unique and exclusively edition for this year!
Welcome to the "City of Love": the French capital is one of the most romantic cities in Europe and one of the world’s most visited cities. There are endless reasons to visit Paris repeatedly: it is a beautiful and cultural city, very walkable, with great sights, and it has been a source of inspiration for many writers, artists, and filmmakers. Why visit Paris? Because Paris is Always a Good Idea .
DISCOVER PARIS is an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.
The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the magical and romantic city of Paris, in France,through photos, reportage, videos made by photographers (amateurs or not) from different places of the world. DISCOVER PARIS wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.
The two tours of the cities is organized in collaboration with Xi Tan, a professional local guide,who knows all the sights of Paris and will take you on a guided tour . Exactly:
1° Tour - "The Best of Paris": Visit of Arc de Triomphe - Avenue des Champs-Élysées -Louvre - Pont des Arts - Notre-Dame - Eiffel Tower
2° Tour - "Montmartre": Visit of Basilique du Sacré-Cœur - Sinking House - La Maison Rose - The Wall of I Love You - La Maison Rose - Place du Tertre
Further, we will have an outstanding daily trip: Palace of Versailles. The Palace of Versailles, which was once just a hunting lodge, was the primary residence of the Kings of France for over 100 years until the French Revolution. Over 10 million people visit this extravagant palace each year. After the Eiffel Tower, it’s the most popular attraction in the country. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Last but not least, we will also visit the speachless Jardin du Luxembourg, we will enjoy a panoramic view of Paris from Galeries Lafayette and we will finish the activities in wonderful spot of Pont de Bir-Hakeim.
In order to improve participants’ professional and academic skills, there will be several workshops and photoshooting:
- Workshop "Street Photography" organized by Kevin M. Doolan
- Workshop "Portrait Photography" organized by Kseniia Tushova
- Outdoor Photoshoot with models in Pont de Bir-Hakeim
How is DISCOVER PARIS organized and what is its output?
The role of participant is to take photos of Paris' beauties during each guided tours. You will work alone or in pair (your fellow could be one your friend). The project lasts 4 days.

10:00 – 12:00 Workshop "Portrait Photography" lead by Kseniia Tushova in Jardin du Luxembourg
15:00 - 17:30 Second Tour of Paris with Xi Tan (see above the details)
Saturday 29 April
10:00 – 10:30 Leaving for Palace of Versailles

Sunday 30 April
10:00 – 12:00 Outdoor Photoshoot with models in Pont de Bir-Hakeim
12:00 – 12:30 Issue of Attendance certificates and Good bye
At the end of the project, each participant shall receive an Attendance certificates signed by the Let me Italian you team and all its partners.
Plus, in order to bring more visibility to the work done during the project, each participant will submit 20 photos with their credits to Let me Italian you and the photos will be published by our official Flickr & Instagram (@letmeitalianyou) accounts.
