After the great success of the Italian edition, DISCOVER KRAKOW is ready to become INTERNATIONAL! We are running the second edition opened also to International photographers, in collaboration with National Geographic Traveler Poland.
DISCOVER KRAKOW is an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.
The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the romantic and shining city of Krakow, in Poland, trough photos, reportage, videos made by young photographers from different places of the world. DISCOVER KRAKOW wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the young photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.
DISCOVER KRAKOW is supported by Italian Cultural Institute in Krakow.
The project is organized in collaboration with the tour operator Noble KrakowTour Operator, who has the role to let discover and know all the beauties of Cracow thanks guided tours. Furthermore, agenda will be enriched with the visit of two UNESCO World heritage sites: Auschwitz and Birkenau concentration camps and the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
In order to improve participants’ professional and academic skills, there will be three workshops:
- Workshop "Portrait photography" organized by the famous Cracow School Of Art and Fashion Design; it will last 3 hours.
- Workshop organized by the polish photographer
Weronika Kosinka.
- Workshop "Food photography" organized by the polish photographer Ania Kurnyta.
How is DISCOVER KRAKOW organized and what is its output?
The role of participant is to take photos of Krakow’s beauties during each guided tours. The project lasts 5 days; here you are the agenda:

At the end of the project, it will be released to each participant the Attendance certificates signed by Let me Italian you and all its partners: Italian Cultural Institute in Krakow, Cracow School Of Art and Fashion Design, Weronika Kosinka, Ania Kurnyta.
Plus, in order to make more visible the job done during the project, each participant will give 20 photos with his credits to Let me Italian you and then he will see one photo published on the official Facebook page of Krakow, Krakow PL(106K followers), and on the official website and Facebook page (148K followers) of National Geographic Traveler Poland with his credits.
