"It is one of the most beautiful and incredible places on earth. Iceland, the youngest Island in world’s history. A paradise for geoscientists and paradise for those who want to understand how the earth was formed. They say that you cannot get to know it without living there; it’s beautiful, cruel, icy, fascinating. Dream destination for many of us… It’s wowen with contradictions:ice and fire, because in fact we see there either glaciers or erupting volcanoes from which we can still see the trails of boiling lava. The Island is full astonishing beauty, breathtaking views but at the same time could be cruel and threatening to life. It’s like one of the most beautiful images of what the human soul is- conflicted, built entirely on contradictions. Either full of boiling lava of love, enthusiasm and beauty or full of frigidity and darkness. The most fascinating facts about this Island is why it is possible to live there. Because looking at its shape, its northern location, there should be freezing cold not allowing for life- we can live there because there is a sea current, which has its source in the Gulf of Mexico. This current, The Gulf Stream, travels thousands of kilometres and goeas around Iceland on both sides. It’s a warm current which means that in this icy regions, that cold is contrasted by heat and high temperatures. Thanks to this current that is possible to live there. Few years ago I have had opportunity to meet two brothers, who invited me to Catania for Discover Sicily. Let me Italian you projects are one of a kind, with workshops which provide invaluable advices, people who share best practise and challenging participants in photography journey Every time ( it was my 10th one) the project was an eye opener for me, helped to improve my photography skills. But besides that thanks to Gabri Ele and Massi Maxi I gained true friends and met amazing people from all over the world. Thank you drear Twins for being that warm current."

Proprio vero, perché da quando son rientrata da questo viaggio in Islanda, la mia mente non ha smesso di viaggiare, perché tra tutti, questo è il viaggio più bello di tutti. Il viaggio dell' anima; trovarsi nell' immensità della natura islandese, perdersi negli spazi infiniti delle pianure, ascoltare i silenzi, e dopo il rumore impetuoso delle magnifiche cascate, e lo scroscio delle acque limpide, le casette nelle pianure sterminate.
