I'm Irina and I'm 28 years old.
I am spending a lot of my time in Perugia, Italy because I'm a student in international relations here.
But I like to travel more, to discover new places, new people and new food. I like pictures and collect postcards.

I like take photos in fact I studying at Accademia of fine arts.
I love taking pictures Of the views, new places and animals ( so I love taking pictures of birdwatching).

After the great success of Krakow, Barcelona, Budapest, Sicily, Marrakech, Lisbon, Copenhagen, Prague, Athens, Santorini, Seville, Paris, Valencia and London, Let me Italian you is proudly ready to launch the first and exclusive edition of DISCOVER GRAN CANARIA. It will be a unique and exclusively edition for the all 2023!
"Gran Canaria, a land of memory and nature that cast a spell on the world!" Gran Canaria is a book full of age-old stories. It is also a treasure trove of biodiversity with gems glittering throughout the land between the coast and the summit. UNESCO has embraced these archaeological, ethnographic and natural values by declaring almost half its land plus a wide section of the shoreline to be a Biosphere Reserve.
DISCOVER GRAN CANARIA is an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.
The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the magic island of Gran Canaria, in Spain, trough photos, reportage, videos made by photographers (amateurs and not) from different places of the world. DISCOVER GRAN CANARIA wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.
The two tours of the cities is organized in collaboration with Blink Gran Canaria, a professional local guide,who knows all the sights of Gran Canaria and will take you on a guided tour . Exactly:
1° Tour: Visit of Las Palmas + Arucas
2° Tour: Visit of Pico de las Nieves + Tejeda
Further, we will visit the most symbol of Gran Canaria: Roque Nublo One of Gran Canarias’most stunning natural symbols. The landscape around this giant rock seems like something from another planet. It’s packed with pine, broom and the endemic tajinaste with its impressive red flowers. The panoramic views here are considered among the best on the island. This is one of the most special places on the whole island, and the walk to the top really is worth it.
Last but not least, we will photograph the sunset in the magic location of "Maspalomas Dunes":the Maspalomas Dune system is a unique wild place in the Canary Islands due to its beauty and range of ecosystems. Its 400 hectares, protected by the Canarian government as a Nature Reserve of special value, include a fantastic beach, a dynamic sand dune system, palm grove and a brackish lagoon. This mix of desert and oasis .
In the end, we will also visit another amazing spot of the island: Mogan, called as the "Venice of Gran Canaria".
In order to improve participants’ professional and academic skills, there will be several workshops :
Exclusively for this edition, we are going to have as the main photographer teacher: Onesimo Costa. The photographer Onesimo Costa will support the participant during all the days of the project. He will offer full time availability if someone has questions or need close attention. Onesimo is a professional landscape photographer based in Portugal and one of our main partner in Discover Lisbon.
How is DISCOVER GRAN CANARIA organized and what is its output?
The role of participant is to take photos of Gran Canaria's beauties during each guided tours. You will work alone or in pair (your fellow could be one your friend). The project lasts 4 days.

At the end of the project, it will be released to each participant the Attendance certificates signed by Let me Italian you and all its partners.
Plus, in order to bring more visibility to the work done during the project, each participant will submit 20 photos with their credits to Let me Italian you and the photos will be published by our official Flickr & Instagram (@letmeitalianyou) accounts.
