Ludmiła Hello, I'm Ludmiła and I’m from Poland. Photography is my hobby. Since I was a child, I have been studied with passion old photos, magazines with yellow border and I have been tried to follow in the maestro’s footsteps. I do photos every day and everywhere. It makes me feel happy, calm and gives a new look to the world around us. I partecipated in Discover Sicily 1 last April.

Chiara Hello, my name is Chiara and I’m an 18th, italian girl. Photography is my passion and also the type of school that I practice. Everyday I do photoshop for people, and my favorite subjects are particular and strage people , I also love photographing strange people and monuments in strange cities to seize the moment. Photography makes me free, happy and creative. This is my first time that I take part of Discover projects.

I studied one semester in Germany and I did an internship as an English Conversationalist in Italy. I am passionate about photography, traveling and Arts festivals. I helped organise and promote the first two editions of Dub Web Fest, a short form content festival from Dublin.

Aatu Hello, my name is Aatu! I'm 17 years old and I'm from Finland. Photography is my hobby. I specially love taking photos of sun rises (I mainly do landscape and nature photography). I'm currently studying to become datanome and I also play ukulele and I go fencing four times in a week. It's my first time in project like this and i'm happy to see you all.

Hanna “Hello! My name is Hanna and I’m 35 years old. I’m from Gothenburg, Sweden and I work as a graphic designer and illustrator. Photography is one of my biggest passions and I try to bring my camera with me most of the time. I also love traveling, music, coffee and playing guitar. This will be my first discover project and I look forward to experiencing a new city as well as learning more and meet new friends.

After the great success of the first two editions, Let me Italian you is proudly ready to launch the third and exclusive edition of DISCOVER BUDAPEST, with wonderful news! The last edition for the year 2017!

DISCOVER BUDAPEST is an innovative project with a purpose to make the participants have a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.

The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the magic city of Budapest,Hungary, trough photos, reportage, videos made by photographers (amateurs and not) from different places of the world. DISCOVER BUDAPEST wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the photographer, moreover it wants to enrich their portfolio.

DISCOVER BUDAPEST is supported by Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest.

The tour of the Old Town is organized in collaboration with Zsuzsanna, a local guide, who knows all the sights of Budapest and will take you on a guided tour. Furthermore, agenda will be enriched with the visit of the most beautiful sites: Heroes Square, Fisherman's Bastion, Vajdahunyad Castle, Margaret island, Buda Castle.

In order to improve the participants’ professional and academic skills, there will be four workshops :

Workshop "Urban Photography" lead by the photographer Isabel Val
Workshop "Fashion Photography" lead by Adrienn Örkényi and Noémi Jánossy & Simon Péter in a professional studio
Workshop "Long expose in Landscape photography" at Buda Castle lead by Charles Netzler

Further, there will be anOutdoor Shooting with local models in the stunning location of the Fisherman's Bastion.

How is DISCOVER Budapest organized and what is its output?

The role of the participant is to take photos of Budapest’s beauties during each guided tours. You will work alone or in pairs (your fellow could be one your friend). The project lasts 4 days.

At the end of the project, each participant shall receive an Attendance certificates signed by the Let me Italian you team and all its partners: Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest,Budapest Metropolitan University, Isabel Val,Adrienn Örkényi, Charles Netzler.

Plus, in order to bring more visibility to the work done during the project, each participant will submit 20 photos with their credits to Let me Italian you and one of the photos will be published by the Facebook page of Daily News Hungary (30K followers) and by Daily magyar (20K followers) plus from our official Instagram account @letmeitalianyou and Flickr account Let me Italian you.

I have studied business administration, but I'm passionate about nature activities (hiking, cycling, bird watching, star observation etc), photography and travel. I love taking mainly nature and landscape photos and I'm also very interested in astrophotography. It's my first time taking part in a project like this and I look forward to visiting and photographing the city of Budapest.

I recently finished my masters degree in Embedded-Systems Design, my interests regarding technology lead me to my biggest hobby; photography. My passion is to experiment with lightpainting, long exposure, HDR and macro photography.

Hey everyone, my name is Christina (you can call me Chris), I'm 25 and I come from Russia. I studied foreign languages and now I work as a tutor. I teach English but I can also speak German, Chinese and a bit of Icelandic. One of my biggest passions is playing music and songwriting but recently I also got really interested in photography and videography. I love traveling, so I take pictures of all the beautiful places I visit. It will be my first time in Budapest and in such a project so I'm excited to learn more about the art of photography and to meet people from all over the world!

Hello! My name is Silvia, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Italy. I study photography in Brescia and I worked as a wedding photographer. This is my first time in Budapest. It will be a great experience!

My name is Joanna from the sunny island of Malta. Although I consider myself as a Summer person, by the years I am growing to love the colder seasons and especially the colder countries much more - I am particularly in love with the winter fashion :). Two of my major interests are travelling and photography - but I don't do any as a profession yet :) I just follow major Instagram /social media accounts which I like and take the ideas and inspiration from them, I can spend hours editing different photos which I take/pose for - usually with my boyfriend who is very patient with me and supports me all the way. In real life I work as a Fund Accountant which is quiet the opposite I guess. I am the second out of four siblings and I am currently doing my own designer finished apartment in Malta which I am very excited to move into hopefully by December.
