Antonello Hi, my name is Antonello! I've partecipated also in Discover Krakow VII. I was born in a small village in the province of Oristano in Sardinia in 1977. I begin to passionate about photography for 25 years with the first compact then with time to arrive at the reflection world and the first courses with affirmed photographers t World Level as Simone Sbaraglia, with whom I have courses of various levels. Lovers of landscape and naturalism but do not disdain all other photographic genres knowing that each of them is a source of personal comparison and improvement.

Magda My name is Magda and I live in Wrocław, Poland. I am 24 years old. Photography is my biggest hobby, that’s why I am so glad I can go with “Let me Italian You”. I've been already part of Discover Krakow VII. I learned how to use camera on my own and then I studied Photography at the University of Wroclaw. I work in a completely different trade, but I will always find a moment to take photos and share them with the world. I hope we will have fun again in October!

Cecilia In my life I have always had an immense passion for photography, which I fed by attending schools and art academies. I currently work as a video-maker assistant and I'm specializing in video editing, but my aspiration is to travel, meet people, and tell their stories with images and words. Knowing and experiencing cultural diversity in the world is what makes me happy and I am even happier when I can do it with the camera. I've partecipated the second edition of Budapest last May.

Marcella Hello! My name is Marcella, I'm 25 and I was born in Naples. I work and study at the same time. Photography is probably the only thing that can make me feel complete, serene, confident and satisfied. As Alice enters inside the denim of the Bunny, so I feel with the camera in my hands.

Lydia Hello, My name is Lydia, i am 23 years old and live in Stockholm, Sweden. I work with clothes but when i am not working I try to go out and capture nice pictures.

Giada I'm Giada, a graduate of Publishing and Graphic Arts specialization in February 2016 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. I am passionate about graphics, but also the illustrations, I worked as freelancer for graphic and fashion studies. In my free time, I love to photograph the peculiarity of the places. I've partecipated also in Discover Budapest II.

Michèle Bonjour, je m'appelle Michèle. Je suis née en 1946 à Monaco. J'ai consacré ma vie à la peinture parallèlement à mon activité de professeur d'Italien. En 2007 je me tourne vers la photo et en 2009 je rejoins le collectif photographique niçois "Photon" avec lequel je fais de nombreuses expositions pendant 5 ans. En 2013 je participe à un workshop à Arles avec Jean Christian Bourcart qui m'incite à poursuivre ma démarche photographique de façon toujours plus personnelle. J'aime photographier l'ombre, la lumière, les regards, l'ailleurs, le mouvement...

Daria Hello! My name is Daria. I was born in Russia, but the last 2 years I am living and studying in Vienna. I have a lot of hobbies and one of them is photography. I have never taken a part in events like that and I am really happy that I can do it in such beautiful city like Barcelona and to be a participant of the project “Let me Italian you”!

Sara Hi! My name is Sara, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Turin. I am a biology student and my greatest passion is photography. As Henri Cartier-Bresson said, "Photographer because the photographs can reach eternity through the moment". I love all kinds of photography, but in particular the macro photography and the naturalistic one. Studying biology I have discovered how wonderful, rich, colorful and unique nature is... All to photograph!!

Martina My name is Martina, born and raised in Bratislava - Slovakia. For me the photography is my way how I can relax - Its my passion and hobby. I love nature photography, landscapes, macro and animals. During my free time I love books, comic books and traveling.

Eleonora Hi everyone! I'm Eleonora and I'm 25. I started to be interested in the field of photography last summer when I was in Brazil and I discovered some amazing places, getting in touch with people with different cultures and ways of thinking. Exploring the world is my deeper passion. I partecipated also in Discover Budapest I last March.

Laura My name is Laura, I’m 25 years old and I live in Faenza, a city 50 km east from Bologna. Photography is a passion that drives me in my travels, a special way to create personal memories. I take part in “Let me Italian you” project because I like the idea to explore a new place together with people that share the same passion. I participated in the first edition of Discover Budapest last march.

Elvira Benedetta Hi pals! I'm Elvira Benedetta and I'm 28. I was born among Abruzzo mountains, but I live in Bologna where I work as environmental engineer. I'm a hobby photographer, music and literature passionate, a vagabond heart. I love traveling and wandering, looking for beauty. My motto? "Live boldly, push yourself, don't settle."

Harry My name is Harry, I'm 22 and I'm from England. I am a student at the University of Reading, where I'm studying Environmental Pollution. I have a passion for photography, nature, playing guitar and traveling, and am looking forward to exploring Barcelona!

Amanda I'm Amanda. I was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I spent a few years in Vancouver, BC before moving to Ireland. I’ve been in Dublin a year where I’ve been working at the Law Society of Ireland. I’m a huge music fan and I love hockey (ice hockey to you Europeans). I love travelling and sharing my photos so my Canadian friends can vicariously live through my adventures. I also like improving the geographical knowledge of my niece and nephew by sending them post cards from everywhere I go. I can’t wait to share a part of Spain with them! I partecipated in Discover Krakow 7.

Giulia Hi, I'm Giulia I'm 21 years old, I'm from Turin and study new techologies,web and graphic design at Art Accademy in my city. I love photography especially landscapes and sunsets but I want to learn how to make portraits!. I do theater and in this year I started a fantastic experience at Juventus Stadium, I'm a Steward in Uniform. I partecipated in Discover Krakow V.

Magdalena I'm 24 years old neuroscience student from Kraków. I was also studing medicine but only for one year. For now I work as a bartender. My first love was analog photography and now I have a weakness to shooting during a golden hour or full sun light.

Giusi Hi guys! My name is Giuseppa, for friends Giusi, I’m 29 years old and I live in Palermo. I’ve a degree in Architecture and I work in a firm. I love art in all its manifestation ( in the simple sense, music, theater, cinema, architecture... ) and especially photography. In every shot I try an anspiration, which particulary reflected in monuments- heritage of my background – and landscapes. I like contrasts and places ‘lived’, reflecting beauty of the artistic heritage or which are ‘underground’. I parteciped in Discover Krakow IV.

Federica Hello guys! My name is Federica, I'm 30 years old and I come from Sardinia! I love travelling and documenting the places that I visit through my pictures, specially I'm attracted to photograph details, unknown people, markets.. street photography and reportage are my favourite issues. After the great success of the first four editions, Let me Italian you is proudly ready to launch the fifth and exclusive edition of DISCOVER BARCELONA, with wonderful news! The last edition for the year 2017!

DISCOVER BARCELONA is an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.

The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the magic city of Barcelona, in Spain, trough photos, reportage, videos made by photographers (amateurs and not) from different places of the world. DISCOVER BARCELONA wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.

DISCOVER BARCELONA is supported by Institut D’Estudis fotografics de Catalunya.

The tour of Barcelona is organized in collaboration with a professional guide, Yan Pekar, who has the role to let discover and know all the beauties of Barcelona thanks guided tours. Furthermore, agenda will be enriched with the visit of the most beautiful sites: Gothich Quarter, Parc Guell, Barceloneta, Port Vell, Bunker del Carmen - Turó de la Rovira .

In order to improve participants’ professional and academic skills, there will be four workshops :

Workshop "Street Photography" organized by the famous Institut D’Estudis fotografics de Catalunya;
Workshop "Fashion Photography" organized by the photographer Dori Barranco;
Workshop "Photography as an art of seeing beyond obvious" organized by the photographer Yan Pekar;
Outdoor Photo Shooting with local models in Parc de la Ciutadella

Exclusively for this edition: a practice low-light photography with tripods with Yan Pekar in order to learn how to take the best night pictures!

How is DISCOVER BARCELONA organized and what is its output?

The role of participant is to take photos of Barcelona’s beauties during each guided tours. You will work alone or in pair (your fellow could be one your friend). The project lasts 4 days.

At the end of the project, it will be released to each participant the Attendance certificates signed by Let me Italian you and all its partners: Institut D’Estudis fotografics de Catalunya, Yan Pekar, Dori Barranco.

Plus, in order to make more visible the job done during the project, each participant will give 20 photos with his credits to Let me Italian you and then he will see one photo published by M'agrada Catalunya (83K followers),and from our official Instagram account @letmeitalianyou and Flickr account Let me Italian you.

Further, Discover Barcelona is supported by Andrey Guest List, free guest list to the best night clubs of Barcelona.

Hello from Russia! My name is Marina, I love film photography. I'm a hobby photographer. I like history of film developing, and I always try to shoot something. My first camera was Zenit EM. Since then it's been a few years and cameras won't fit on the shelf (but it's a very small shelf). The film is intriguing, because the result is not always predictable. Always wonder what happens in the end. Glad to have been invited to participate in the event. I think this is a great opportunity to improve your skills in the company of interesting people. So I'm waiting october and the start of the course!
