Lorenzo Hi, my name is Lorenzo and I’m 20 years old. At the moment I’m working as a graphic designer in Treviso, my home town, near Venice. I love travelling and exploring new cultures, taking photos allows me to capture a moment that’s gone forever, impossible to reproduce.
Mary Ciao mi chiamo Mary, mi piace la fotografia come forma di espressione e nella fotografia ho trovato un mio modo di esprimermi… che sia un emozione, un concetto, un particolare o semplicemente un attimo di vita e spero sempre di riuscire a trasmettere tutto questo a chi guarda i miei scatti.
Moreno Mi chiamo Moreno, ho 47 anni e vivo in un piccolo paese in provincia di Monza. Ho tre passioni nella mia vita, che sono: la fotografia, i viaggi e la cucina. Tutte e tre mi danno grandi emozioni perché ognuna mi permette di scoprire sempre cose nuove .
Juci I am a hobby photographer based in Budapest. My most characteristic topics include travel, street and urban photography, brutalism abandoned places, industrial sites, and pure formalism. For me Beauty is something really unconventional, I mostly discover it in post-apocalyptic scenes (sometimes mixed with surrealism).
Luciana My name is Luciana, i'm 21. I'm from Marcianise, Italy. I study Science of Turism at Second University of Naples. My passion for photography started when I was a child. I love travel and discover new places.
Alessandra My name is Alessandra and I'm 25. I was born in Rome, but I live in Piacenza. I'm graduated in Modern Languages and Literatures. One of my biggest passion is photography, portraits in particular.
Martina Hi, I'm Martina, born in Sicily, Siracusa in 1984, but now living in castle of Bedizzole, a little town near Garda's Lake. Photography is my passion, it allows me to immortalize the fleeting moments of a life, inspiring thoughts, feelings, moods, the fit of a particular moment or just my personal view on the world. My family is my best inspiration. Also I love traveling, meeting new people and cultures, I do the mom and the masseuse.
Salvador My name is Salvador, Salva for my friends. My two main hobbies are playing music, and taking and making photographies. For sure, photography combines very well with travelling and practising some sports like trekking. I specially like landscape and nature photographies.
Maria José My name is Maisse and I’m from Spain. For me, photography is a good way to appreciate all we can see that, with a simple sight, we cannot. My camera allows me to refresh and review all the moments and experiences by stopping each sweet second of my life and enjoying them forever.
Kristian I am an Estonian photographer, darkroom printer and entrepreneur. My photographic activities are mainly focused on analogue photography including its rare variant solargraphy. Lately I have found a passion for street photography.
Angela My name is Angela, I'm 32 years old and I live in Cuneo. I'm keen on photography, and I like to grasp details and immortalize them in my shots. I always try to learn from other people to improve myself. The beautiful photographs excite me.
Federico Hi, my name is Federico. I'm 22 and I'm from Fabriano, Italy. My passions are playing football and landscapes photography. My motto is: "Drive the mind where the body cannot be."
Valentina Hi, my name is Valentina Romagnoli and I'm 22 years old. I'm from Cesena and I recently gratuated in advertising. At the beginng photography was only a hobby, but now is a part of my work. Taking photos allows me to show other people my personal point of view and a part of me.
Giorgia Here I am, my name is Giorgia, I live in Trento in the Dolomites where I really like to go skiing and searching some beautiful landscapes to live anytime I can. In life I study communication science and I'm always been interested in photography and visual design. I hate pessimism and peppers
Sara I'm Sara, 25, from Gabicce Mare, Italy. Graduated in Foreign Languages at University of Urbino. I adore the simple things of life, I'm a cheerful and smiling person! Discovering places is my biggest passion, together with my love for music, nature, landscapes and travel.
Ettore Hello! My name is Ettore and I'm 23 years old. I'm from Ferrara,Italy. I like to photograph all that I see and my passion for photography has been born by chance. On my free time, I like reading, travelling and doing sports.
Melissa My name is Melissa, I'm 26 years old I was born in Olbia, Sardinia. Music and Photography are my biggest passions that have always accompanied my life. Both can be archive of memories,experiment,costruction of imaginary, personal reflection,look at the world.
Laurence Hi, I'm Laurence from Paris. I've always been interested in photography : global visual communication supports, as well as cross-meetings with artists and designers. I look forward to learning more about night photography/videos.
Miriam Miriam, 23, clinical psychology student, from Padova, Italy. I spend most of my free time abroad, traveling and discovering others countries and cultures. I'm also passionate about music and photography, these are my way to see through the world, and to keep my memories forever. I've been part of Discover Krakow IV.
Irene Hi there! I'm Irene, a 22 y/o student from Italy. The studies in the field of International Relations and Human Rights made me love documentary and social photography. I enjoy discovering a foreign city by approaching its inhabitants and wandering around the most unexplored corners. My camera is always with me! I've been part in Discover Krakow VI.

Laura Hi, my name is Laura Chiarello. I'm 26 years old and I come from Alessano, a small country of South Italy. I study Law but photography is the biggest passion of my life. When I photograph, I distance myself from the world. I feel in love with portrait and landscape photos.
Bartosz My name is Bartosz and I live in Krakow. I love exploring which play nicely with two of my passions photography and traveling. From all aspects of photography street has recently become the closes to my heart. I am member of FotografiaKrakow group.

PARTICIPANTS

After the great success of the first three editions, Let me Italian you is proudly ready to launch the fourth and exclusive edition of DISCOVER BARCELONA, with wonderful news!

DISCOVER BARCELONA is an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.

The main goal of the project is to valorise and promote the magic city of Barcelona, in Spain, trough photos, reportage, videos made by photographers from different places of the world. DISCOVER BARCELONA wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.

DISCOVER BARCELONA is supported by Institut D’Estudis fotografics de Catalunya.

The tour of Barcelona is organized in collaboration with a professional guide, Yan Pekar,who has the role to let discover and know all the beauties of Barcelona thanks guided tours. Furthermore, agenda will be enriched with the visit of the most beautiful sites: Gothich Quarter, Parc Guell, Barceloneta, Port Vell, Bunker del Carmen - Turó de la Rovira .

In order to improve participants’ professional and academic skills, there will be three workshops:

  1. Workshop "Street Photography" organized by the famous Institut D’Estudis fotografics de Catalunya; 
  2. Workshop "Fashion Photography" organized by the photographer Chema Garrido; 
  3. Workshop  Meaningful photography - how to be "here and now organized by the photographer Yan Pekar; 
  4. Outdoor Photo Shooting with local models in Parc de la Ciutadella

Exclusively for this edition: a  practice low-light photography with tripods with Yan Pekar in order to learn how to take the best night pictures!

 

How is DISCOVER BARCELONA organized and what is its output?

The role of participant is to take photos of Barcelona’s beauties during each guided tours. You will work alone or in pair (your fellow could be one your friend). The project lasts 4 days.

Saturday 13 May

At the end of the project, it will be released to each participant the Attendance certificates signed by Let me Italian you and all its partners: Institut D’Estudis fotografics de Catalunya, Yan Pekar, Chema Garrido.

Plus, in order to make more visible the job done during the project, each participant will give 20 photos with his credits to Let me Italian you and then he will see one photo published by M'agrada Catalunya (83K followers),and from our official Instagram account @letmeitalianyou and Flickr account  Let me Italian you.

Further, Discover Barcelona is supported by Andrey Guest List,  free guest list to the best night clubs of Barcelona.
